UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT

What is Unemployment Benefit? Unemployment benefits (DFL No. 150 of 1982, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security) is an aid to economic, awarded to workers who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own, for a maximum period of 360 days . This benefit is provided through the Institute of Normalization (INP) or respective Compensation Fund as appropriate.
Who can apply for this grant? Those who are unemployed.
- Have at least 52 weeks or 12 months of continuous or discrete disciplines in any pension system affect the system, within two years preceding the date of dismissal.
- Be enrolled in the registry of discharged each institution should take the Public Service Pension or concerned.
- Be enrolled in the registry of discharged each municipality should take in order to assign relief work for the community.
- May be charged for all dependent workers, public or private sector, affiliated to INP and AFP.

How to apply for the Certificate in Social Department? Call for an INP or Certified Compensation Fund, Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM., Social Department, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on the first floor of the Hall Building (south wing ), located at Av Peñablanca # 250 Algarrobo. This certificate has no cost to you.

What are the requirements to apply for a welfare?
For disability pension
- Disabled persons over 18 years and under 65 years from the date of the application.
- That lack of economic resources and social welfare.
- Social security tab (if not the Department's request has internally).
- Staying at least 6 months in the commune.
For old-age pension
- Persons 65 years old or older than this age, lacking financial resources and without social security.
- Reside in the district at least 6 months.
For the pension of Mental Deficiency
- Designed for people with mental retardation, Down syndrome, autism, of any age who lack financial resources and without social security.
- Reside in the district at least six months.
What documents should I submit to request a welfare?
For disability pension
- Original identity card and photocopy.
- Updated certificate of residence.
- Original birth certificate and photocopy.
- DL 869 disability form approved by COMPIN (delivered in Grants Department prosecutors).
For old-age pension
- Be Social Protection tab (if not the Department's request has internally).
- Original identity card and photocopy.
- Updated certificate of residence.
- Original birth certificate and photocopy.
For the pension of Mental Deficiency
- Be Social Protection tab (if not the Department's request has internally).
- Original identity card and photocopy of the applicant.
- Updated certificate of residence.
- Original birth certificate and photocopy.
- DL 869 disability form approved by COMPIN (delivered in Grants Department prosecutors).
